Gospel Singer Donnie McClurkin, who claims to have been "delivered from the curse of homosexuality" (while we know differently) has had quite a history in his interactions with the LGBT Community. From verbally attacking gospel singers and pastors who choose to live in truth from his platform, and COGIC (Church of GOD in Christ conventions) known for being very similar to black, gay pride weekends, as well as other shenanigans that include his most recent rant via social media about the Supreme Court ruling in favor of same-sex couples having our nuptials recognized legally in the United States, stating "Supreme Court rules & overturns ban on same sex marriage...makes same sex marriage constitutional!!! The church now stands against it or bows its knee to it What will you do?" While this man clearly has issues accepting his own sexuality, and it's a known fact that he still secretly indulges in the behavior, I find it infuriating that many pastors and gospel singers continue to condemn gay, lesbian and transgender people for living out proud, condemning us to hell and feeding us the idea that GOD deals with us by using a long handled spoon, all while they indulge in the same behaviors behind closed doors. I've never been one for expose's but when you're slinging stones from a glass closet, maybe it's more than appropriate.
