Practices define identity. There are things covenant people do and things they are not permitted to do, if they are to reap the full benefits of the covenant. Anti-covenant practices include: 1. Begging and borrowing (Gen. 14:21-23; 23:12-18, Deut. 15:6; 28:12-13, Ps. 37: 25-26, Ps. 112:1-3, 5, Prov. 22:7, 1Cor. 7:23, 1Chron. 21:24) 2. Confidence in man (Ps. 34:5; 118:8-9; 121:1-8) 3. Fraudulent practice (Gen. 14:22-23, Job 1:1-3, Prov. 14:11, Jer. 17:11) 4. Acting without direction (Gen. 26:1-3; 1Sam. 30:8, Prov. 3:5-6, Ps. 32:8, Isa. 48:17, Isa. 30:21, Jer. 6:16) 5. Impossibility mentality (Gen. 13:14, 26:1, 12-14, 37:5-7,9; Num. 13:30-33, 14:22-24, 1Sam. 17:11, 24-26; Pro.23:7, Eph. 3:20; Gen 3:14) This video explains the 3rd point.
