Making of the shooting by Kruz Co & friends. KC#001 Yamaha XS 400 The small Yam XS 400 arrived at the studio in bad shape. Torn apart, shabby, faded, and with a crooked engine, it was a daunting challenge! As soon as we saw it, we knew it was a “tracker”, given its 80s wheel rims. We decided to get rid of the original line, which we considered too heavy, in order to give way to a tank Honda CB 125 that had been amended by us. The two-color saddle resulted from the collaboration with the workshop “Niyona”. As for the mudguards, they had been lying around in a corner for quite some time. After we remodeled both of them, we fixed them on the Yam to round off the line. Given the urban nature of the bike we decided to place a 320mm disc at the front in order to bridge it to its distant "Supermoto" cousins. In the same spirit, the handlebar "renthal" was shortened to ease the transit between vehicles in the queues. The engine has been completely restored and went through many face-lifts that rendered its sturdy character. A big pair of K & N dirt track, a pair of megaphones and that was it! There is not a single piece of this machine which was not remodeled! www.kruzcompany.com/ www.truebikerspirit.com/ www.niyona.be/ Music: The Black Box Revelation - Madhouse
