The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is one of the fastest growing Pentecostal Churches in the World. Under the leadership of its General Overseer (popularly known as the GO or Daddy GO), the church led by Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye, has expanded rapidly and today numbers over 5 million members worldwide. Not well known before the GO took charge the Church has its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, and claims more than 100 branches in nations across the globe and 14,000 branches in its home country. Pastor Adeboye has stated that his aim is to put a church within five minutes of every person on Earth and just two years ago he was acclaimed by the Time Magazine and Newsweek as being among the 50 most influential people in the world. A tour to Israel led by Daddy GO and Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye (Mummy GO) has become a regular feature of the Church's activities going back for over 20 years and Immanuel Tours, a leading Israeli tour operator has been handling these tours since their inception. It has been a mutually benefitting partnership over the years and thousands of congregants from the Redeemed Christian Church of God have been spiritually blessed and transformed. The latest tour took place in May 2013 when a group of over 600 members arrived in Israel for their bi-annual tour and convention under the motto "Double Portion". Over the years more innovative ways to making the tour more vibrant and to further enrich it In different ramifications have been introduced. One of the major highlights of the tour was the "Business Forum"bringing together Nigerian and Israeli businessmen and women in order to further the good relationships between Nigeria and Israelin the realm of trade and manufacture. Another innovation was the gifts of 2 ambulances, one in the year 2011 and a second one in 2013 to the Israeli Ambulance Service, "Magen David Adom" which testify to the love of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for the Land and the People of Israel.
