Muhammad Yunus is a man of many talents. Born and raised in Bangladesh, he grew up to be a banker, economist and Nobel Peace Prize recipient. In his previous career as a professor of economics, Muhammad Yunus has developed the concepts of microcredit and microfinance - types of loans that were given to entrepreneurs that were too poor to qualify for the traditional bank loans system. Muhammad Yunus received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for their efforts through microcredit to create economic and social development from below. www.leaderonomics.tv
