Before a sold out banquet audience at the 8th annual Muslim Public Affairs Council convention, Dr. Rick Warren expressed his commitment to working with Muslim Americans to foster civility and his willingness to work with people across the spectrum of opinion. The convention also held a "Ring the Bells of Peace" performance by rock star Melissa Etheridge and Salman Ahmed (co-founder of multi-platinum Pakistani band Junoon).
