The good news is that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins (living our way and not God's way, doing the things God hates), was buried and rose from the grave on the third day (1 Corinthians 15 v 1-7). The bible says that we have all broken God’s holy law, and because of this, we are guilty before God, we deserve to go to hell, we deserve the full justice of almighty God. But God in his love and mercy sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sin, that if we repent (Say sorry to God and be willing to turn away) of our sins (living our way, doing things that God hates) and believe in Jesus Christ, put our total trust in him, the bible says we shall be totally forgiven and given the free gift of eternal life (John 3v16).
