Coodanup: Along the Serpentine River; Perth area, Western Australia

submitted by visitpeel on 12/11/13 1

Visit to the Coodanup getaway home of good friends in Perth, where we walked in the surrounding bush and saw and photographed osprey, galahs, white-tailed black cockatoos, Australian magpies, red-capped parrots, and cowslip, spider and enamel orchids. We also canoed on the Serpentine River to its mouth in Peel Inlet, where we saw pelican, great egrets and cormorants. September 2011.
