On Aug. 7, 2015, MAS Bay Area convened its first camp for Young Muslim Professionals. Spanning three days in the secluded woods in Soquel, California, forty campers, away from life’s distractions and a wi-fi signal, refocused their spirit and identity. The hope was to re-energize this critical cohort towards greater service to Allah and the community. MAS Bay Area believes that camp provides a place for enduring values; a retreat to think about hopes, dreams, and future and most important one’s relationship with God.
