I don't know about you but whenever winter approaches I tend to wear a lot more monochrome outfits so I decided to make some monochrome room decor to make my room more wintery haha. So today I have 3 easy room decor ideas to share with you guys. I hope you enjoy the video! Also this is my first voiceover so tell me if it helps or if I should just stick to diy's with text. MATERIALS: GEOMETRIC WALL DECAL- Washi Tape- Staples 4$ (I used one of these and one roll of electrical tape because I ran out so buy three of these) Electrical Tape- Had at home (The washi tape is easier to work with though so I would recommend that) MINI TAPESTRY- Fabric- I cut out some fabric from the lining of an old skirt Dye- I used some left over rit dye Blue Gel School Glue- Walmart Reference Image: www.pinterest.com/pin/353954851936704250/ GEOMETRIC MOBILE Wooden Beads/Spheres- Michaels 3$ (I got 2 packs) Wire- Joanns Hot Glue E6000 Spray Paint- Walmart Air Dry Clay- Michaels The original diy idea came from this blog post (www.designsponge.com/2013/06/diy-eames-inspired-mobile.html) I decided to film this anyways though because I didn't understand their instructions on how they attached all the pieces together. TIPS: 1) I would definetely recommend using washi tape over electrical tape because electrical tape stretches and may damage your walls but washi tape is perfectly safe and much easier to work with 2) You can spray paint the mobile before or after you are done, I would recommend both so you know that it's fully spray painted.
