An in-depth look at the development and features of the new, cordless Dremel 8200 with the person who knows it best, Dremel 8200 Product Manager Brian Benes. First thing you'll notice about the 8200 is that it's very similar in it's design and sleekness of the Dremel 4000 corded rotary tool that we launched in October of 2009. The 8200 has a sleek design and fits very nicely in your hand. The Dremel 8200 has been verified independently to have a speed two and a half times faster than the leading rotary tool. Additionally, this is the only cordless rotary tool that Dremel makes that is able to run all Dremel accessories and attachments, including our high-performance attachments, the planer and multi-saw. It also includes a very compact 12 Volt Max Lithium Ion battery that delivers maximum performance and run time. It's the first cordless tool we've introduced with a separate on-off switch that allows users to turn the tool on and off and go back to the speed in which they were using. It's out of the grip zone, so when users are using the tool it can adjust to speed on the fly as they needed. Additionally we've also included a battery fuel range so you can be aware when the batteries draining. We've also included a 1 hour charger and it's the fastest charger Dremel's every introduced, and it's 3 times faster than anything we've ever had before.
