Amigos de Santa Cruz Foundation (www.amigosdesantacruz.org/) is a nonprofit organization that supports education, better health care, a cleaner environment and sustainable economic development for the remote villages of Santa Cruz la Laguna, Guatemala. ChangeStream Media (changestreammedia.org/) is a Seattle-based nonprofit that uses technology, art and digital storytelling to spread important ideas and support innovative grassroots organizations in disadvantaged communities around the world. In Santa Cruz la Laguna, Guatemala, we taught video production skills to university students, produced a video that encourages indigenous women to vote, and created this short film about Amigos' work.
