The Staten Island Museum is expanding to the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center and has turned a landmarked structure built in 1879 into a 21st Century full climate-controlled museum facility that is environmentally friendly. See how the Museum design team installed a geothermal heating and cooling system to help the Museum become LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certified.
