You may have noticed the label on your sunscreen says to check with a pediatrician before applying sunscreen to your baby. Most doctors agree using a small amount of block is generally okay. Use a sunscreen with a SPF of 30 or higher and make sure to look for the words "Broad Spectrum" on the label. Hypoallergenic and fragrance free formulas tend to be less irritating to your baby's sensitive skin. Make sure to apply sunscreen to your baby's skin 30 minutes before leaving the house even if it's overcast. Reapply every two hours and after your baby gets out of the water even if the sunscreen says it's waterproof. Have fun in the sun!
