Ernie Els wins the 2012 Open Championship at Lytham & ST. Annes Golf Club in England. Els was trailing the leader Australia's Adam Scott by 6 strokes entering the final round of play. The Big Easy had previously won the Open a decade ago (2002) in a playoff at Muirfield.
