A woman brought in this old photograph of her father that was severely damaged and wanted to get it restored. It was very dirty, ripped, taped all over and had pieces missing, but she wanted to be able to get a new 5x7 print made out of it. Since we were printing so small we decided to fix everything up except the layer of fine dirt stuck to it as that additional cost to take the time cleaning so much little detail, which may not be very prominent once printed as a small 5x7, was out of her budget range. The final result turned out pretty well I'd say. Of course you could spend hours and hours working on it and cleaning it up, but the client got exactly what she wanted with this rendition and for the time we spent.
