Recipe for the maple bourbon BBQ sauce: 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 med onions, minced 3/4 cup bourbon 2/3 cup ketchup 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/2 cup orange juice 1/2 cup pure maple syrup 1/3 cup molasses 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 tsp salt Sauté the onions in the oil and butter over medium heat then stir in the rest of the wet ingredients. Bring to a slight boil then reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 min until it reduces by about half.
