Any base color will help brighten the water marble try a range of colors! Q: Does it have to be filtered water? A: I always have better luck with filtered water but you can always keep a bottle of water on a shelf so it distilled and it will work just as well. Q: Does a specific brand of polish work? A: Sinful Colors work really well for me and I also have a lot of luck with OPI. I'd avoid any quick dry polishes & crackles though. It's all about experimenting and trying different polishes out.
