Bird from birdknowsbest.com doing a review on a golf ball monogrammer. What this is is basically a tool to put your golf ball to put letters on a golf ball. You put the golf ball in here, squeeze down, and it's supposed to make an imprint. I'll quickly show you what you get with it. You get the tool itself. You get some letters, you can't see the letters on here but there's twenty-six letters, obviously and there's two of each which is nice. You get a little Allen wrench which I'll show you how to use; some lacquer and you get this black tape to actually make the letters stick on the ball. I'll do a quick review on how to use it and why you should not buy it. First thing you do is you take this Allen wrench here and you stick it in the side and unscrew to open the area where you're going to put the letters, which is here. You can only put three letters in; you have to put three letters in which is one of the first downfalls of this thing. Once you get the letters in, just screw them in until they're tight and all of these letters here are flushed. After you get the letters on you're supposed to put a ball in and take the Allen wrench and just tighten it up so the letters are as tight as they can be. Next, grab the black tape that comes with it. There are a dull side and a shiny side; take the dull side and put that so the dull side faces the ball. This is also very difficult to do, another reason this is a terrible product and you shouldn't buy it. Now you can see the tape is between the ball and the letters and you just squeeze down for a couple of seconds. I'll show you the results. We're about to reveal the tape and see how it worked. It actually didn't work terrible for this thing, but you can see a BKB for Bird Knows Best. But the tape is pretty much cashed and there's not much room on each of these tapes. There are only two of them, another reason it's not a product to buy. After the letters dry you're supposed to take this bottle with lacquer and go over the letters to make it stick and it will harden and you'll have it there. That's what your finished product looks like. Again, it's the Golf Ball Monogrammer or Labeller as I call it. Here's what it looks like. It's just too much work for not a very great product. You have to use three letters and that black tape runs out. It's just not worth it. Just grab a Sharpie and write your initials on and save yourself a lot of time. Ignore and do not buy.
