Startups from all over the globe may apply to Start-Up Chile from May 5th to May 26th. Also Start-Up Chile team members and its entrepreneurs will host Meetups around the world spreading the word and answer questions about the program. At last but not least, Start-Up Chile Alumni Rock N Roll Games launched the official Boca Juniors Mobile Game and they were accepted into Hive Ventures. The program offers its participants a global network in order to achieve this. During a six month period, participants must establish themselves in Chile and in return receive a 1-year work visa with USD$35,000. The objective, besides developing startups, is to create and foster networks with the local entrepreneurship ecosystem. The end goal of this program is to place Chile as the innovation and entrepreneurship hub of Latin America. This goal is achieved by connecting entrepreneurs by linking them together with dynamic and diverse networks. The program —unique in the world— is the ideal opportunity for bootstrappers to receive funding without ceding equity while utilizing one of the strongest Latin American economies as their launching/development platform.
