The fist two people to touch each other doing wing-suit canopy relative work were Jari Kuosma and Vladi Pesa back in 2002. Then in 2004 Luigi Cani and I did it when he was doing his world record 39 canopy landings :) At the time I was using the skyflyer 3. The first time a true dock was taken was when Loïc Jean-Albert came to film Luigi and me on one of our jumps. I fell out of the formation and Loic just slipped right in and grabbed Luigi's foot and held it for pretty much as long as he wanted too :) I was super impressed with Loic's skill. He was a true artist in the sky. This is footage from 2009 when Luigi, Tim Rigby and I did a 3 way formation for ESPN's E:60. We were using stealth wing-suits and Luigi was landing the worlds smallest canopy at the time a 37 square footer. Super fun project and we were doing it before people had made up a name for it :) Now people are doing it on base jumps. Amazing how technology and skill levels just keep getting better and better :)
