Calls of an Indian Purple Frog

The Indian purple frog (Nasikabatrachus sahyadrensis) is a unique and elusive endangered species found in the Western Ghats of India. These frogs typically call from underground in excavated burrows or nests in the soil, however, this clip shows a wild male frog calling from above ground.
