Peter Bright speaks on the book of Revelation. 04-11-2012. Revelation 13 v 7,11- "He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them...This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness" Many Christians are going through hardship and persecution because of their faith. As we learnt last week the book of Revelation is an "apocalypse", a revealing of what is normally hidden. John's vision shows us that behind earthly powers and their opposition to God is the activity of the Devil. Yet there is encouragement that this power is only there because it has been "given" by God. It is limited in both time and scope. Hard times have come in the past and will continue to do so in the future. We are called to endure and be faithful as God's plan unfolds towards the final victory of the Lamb"
