Cookie playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDBC2190E873D6840 These cookies are slightly chewy and stay moist for days. The cream cheese flavour is not overpowering. Next time I will use more oreo cookies! 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature) 1/2 cup butter (room temperature) 3/4 cup white sugar 1 cup plus 2 tbsp all purpose flour 10 oreo cookies broken into small pieces ( you could add more if you want). Cream together cream cheese and butter. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in flour a little at a time until combined. Cover and chill for about 45 minutes. Scoop out a 2-3 tbsp portion of dough and place on a cookies sheet (greased or covered with a silicone mat or parchment) Press cookie dough portions down slightly before baking. Bake at 350 F for about 10-11 minutes until edges are just a little bit golden. They will appear uncooked in the center. Remove from oven and allow to cool on cookies sheet before attempting to remove them. Store at room temperature in a covered container.
