My cookies were quite crunchy and were very nice with a glass of milk. I have many other recipes that use cake mixes check them out: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB3E86BCE74530B88 Cookie playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDBC2190E873D6840 1 1/4 cups (160g )all-purpose flour 1 1/4 cups (190g) vanilla cake mix (or any other flavour you want) 1/2 tsp (6g) baking soda 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened 1/2 cup (100g) white granulated sugar 1/2 cup (100g) packed brown sugar 1 egg 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2/3 cup (180g) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup (80g) coloured sprinkles 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) 10 Oreos, chopped into pieces (any flavour or combinations of flavours) Combine flour, cake mix and baking soda together, set aside. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy, blend in the egg and the vanilla. Add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and stir until combined. Add in the cookies, sprinkles, nuts and chocolate chips and stir gently to not break up the cookies. Cover the dough and chill for a couple of hours. Don't skip this step. Scoop portions onto a cookie sheet covered with parchment or a silicone mat, making the the mounds high and round. They will flatten and spread quite a bit during baking, so leave a couple of inches between them. Bake at 350F (177C) for 10-12 minutes or until edges are brown. I let mine go for about 15-17 minutes because the centers looked very underdone and I ended up with crunchy cookies. If this is what you want, then bake until the edges AND bottoms are brown.
