Stir in the beef bouillon granules and bacon grease. Stir until crumbly. Stir in enough ice water to form a soft dough. I found the 1/2 cup was perfect. Pat or roll out to 1/2" thickness and cut out into desired shapes. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes until firm to the touch an light brown on the bottom. Allow to cool completely. I actually tasted one of these and they taste a bit like a plain cracker or whole wheat bread. I couldn't detect the bacon or beef in these, but Hunter's nose when crazy when he smelled these, so I think dog may find them much more appealing. Hunter is a male and is 7 years old. If any of you noticed the big bump on Hunter's front leg, it is a cyst (not painful or cancerous) that doesn't affect his daily life. They plan on having it removed eventually, but surgery and anesthetic on such a large dog is expensive, at least $1500! Recipe found on the piece of packaging that held the dog bone cookie cutter when I bought it. The company is Ann Clark Ltd. I found the pearl dust at Michael's craft store.
