Cute little teddy bear cookies on popsicle sticks. A cute and delicious treat. I made these cookies on the same day as the bear claw cookies and therefore used the cookie batter making footage twice if yous see both videos :) Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe (from allrecipes.com) 1 cup butter softened 1 cup crunchy or smooth peanut butter 1 cup white sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt (omit if using salted butter) 1 1/2 baking soda Cream together the butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in the eggs and then add in the baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add the flour and then blend until smooth. Chill the dough for an hour to make it easier to work with. Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a 1 inch diameter ball. Roll two more smaller balls about 1/4 inch in diameter. Place larger ball on a greased cookie sheet and position the two smaller balls almost on either side of the larger ball. Insert a popsicle stick into the larger ball and then press down gently to flatten slightly. Flatten the smaller balls too, making sure they are touching the larger ball. There will be about 1 inch of space between the ears. Bake at 375F for 10-12 minutes until cookies are light brown on bottom and edges. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for a few minutes and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Decorate as desired. Idea found in a Taste of Home magazine.
