These are excellent chocolate chip cookies whether or not you choose to add colour to them. Be sure to check out Ann Reardon's cookies here: goo.gl/OxQFLp Her dessert creations are amazing and her videos are a joy to watch. My rainbow goodies playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6E5872589178834E 3/4 cup white granulated sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup butter, softened (room temperature) Reduce salt to 1/2 tsp if you use salted butter 1 tbsp vanilla extract 2 large eggs, slightly beaten 3 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp baking soda 3/4 tsp salt 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Cream together the butter and sugars, add the eggs and vanilla and continue to beat until smooth. Add in the flour, baking soda and salt and blend until combined. Divide dough into six portions and add food colouring to each portion, mix in food colour and then add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and stir until blended in. Place dough portions on a greased cookie sheet about 1.5 inches apart and bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes or until set and bottoms lightly browned. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. I try very hard to answer questions when I can, but there is an excellent chance your question has been answered in the description box or in the comments, so please take a look. My favourite channel here on YouTube is CookingAndCrafting. Beth lives in Hawaii and makes great meals, desserts and crafts. We met here on YouTube by commenting on each others videos and have since met each other several times in "real life". She is a lovely person and a great friend.
