These are very good! They retained their soft and chewy texture even a couple of days after baking. Baking until the bottoms are brown but the centers are still soft makes for a nice moist cookie. Ingredients: 1 pkg. two layer yellow or chocolate cake mix 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup butter, softened 1/4 cup milk 2 eggs 1-1/2 cups candy coated chocolate pieces OR milk chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped nuts Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients except candy and nuts in large bowl and mix until blended. Add candy, then drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with nuts, pressing in slightly. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 8-11 minutes until cookies are light golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets to wire racks immediately. 36 small cookies With my cookie scoop, I ended up with 24 cookies.
