Sealing Leaks And Checking My Off Grid Security

submitted by Renee on 11/30/13 1

I sealed between the awning and the wall of the RV with aluminum tape and then I sealed between the awning and my new porch as well to prevent rain from getting on the porch. Now the new passive solar porch should be fully protected from rain. I also put a piece of plastic that was left over from the porch over the back hatch of the RV to stop water from entering until I get the hatch properly repaired. I spent some time checking my off grid security system as well. A couple packages arrived from some fellow youtubers. Thank you both. Mr Beams sent me a battery powered LED lantern with a USB charging port so I can power my USB devices on it when needed. There are no strings attached. This is a brand new product and they wanted me to have one. Thank you Mr Beams. I will take this LED lantern out on my survival trip as my only source of light.
