In september 2014 I received an email from Eric Steckel's manager (Martin) asking if I'm interested to play a European tour in November with Eric. I'd never heard of Eric before. But when I found out who he is, I wanted to play with him! I had a really good feeling about this whole month and also suggested he stay at my place for the whole month. He liked the idea and it worked out really well. This period was the start of a great friendship and also the beginning of a great future for both our careers. Because of this adventure, I had the chance to truly showcase my skills. We both found out that we're on the same wavelength as musicians. We played shows at an certain level which we'd never expected after only one practice session. And he allowed me to produce his live DVD that we recorded at our first show after the first practice session (with jet-lag). A lot of new surprises this last month. And I can tell you. This is only the beginning of something great!! I want to thank Martin for finding me. And Eric for allowing me as drummer and producer. And for becoming a good friend.
