Multiple Pepper Sprays Compared: Mace Triple Action, Sabre Red, and others

submitted by virtualend on 06/12/15 1

Testing the spray pattern and easy of deployment of many different types and brands of Pepper Spray (OC). I could NOT test "effectiveness" of the chemicals, only the delivery and spray pattern. I tested the "Mace" brand triple-action pepper spray, and their 10-percent maximum strength pepper spray. Also testing Sabre "Home and Away" kit which I think was pretty good, and Sabre Red pocket-sized which packs a punch in a small canister. You should always make sure you buy one to practice with. I show in this video how the pepper-spray won't deploy if you push on the tab incorrectly, so you need to be familiar with how your pepper-spray works to get it to spray properly when you need it. Sabre Red, Sabre Home & Away kit, Mace Triple-action. Mace 10% pepper gel. Less than lethal, non-lethal options, OC, CS. At 14:10 in the video, I spray each can until they empty, to show you how much is in each can. Sizes: The Mace "Triple action" flip-top cans small size is 11 Gram, large size is 18 Gram. Mace pocket size (turn-tab) is 11 Grams. Sabre Red pocket unit is 3/4 Oz. Sabre "Home and Away" kit is 19 grams and 70 grams.
