Qualities of a Good Chef's Knife

submitted by virtualend on 06/11/15 1

One of the #1 questions I hear from people right out of the gate--"How do I know if a knife is good or not?". The truth is, a lot of choosing a main knife is personal style, application and preference; however, there are some things that make or break knives, and the goal with this video is to show how to spot if knives are in the category of "worth your time and money" and which ones are junkers! Not that I haven't owned more than a few of both. =) Apologies in advance to every manufacturer out there who is making thousands of frustrating and unhelpful kitchen knives.
