Converted 1/24th RC cars to Slot Cars. Cost of cars: $6.99-$12.99. Cost to convert: 1 - 3 dollars. These can be more fun than real $60 - $80 Brand name slot cars and run just as well. Some even offer better detail and realism. With the batteries installed the head lights stay on and brake lights come on when your finger comes off the trigger. Also, The steering stays functional in the car and you can incorporate the rc controller hardware into the Carrera controller allowing you to steer the front wheels into a turn.
