Corn Stalks turn into BioMass for Cellulosistic Ethanol

submitted by Read More About it on 06/10/15 1

A brand new industry has started up in Iowa. Collecting field crop stubble to turn the cellulose into ethanol. The plant in Emmetsburg Iowa is a joint owned enterprise between DSM (Denmark) and POET bio refineries. The King of Denmark was here a couple months ago to see the brand new plant. They did trial runs last year. This year they have a better system worked out for material handling.
