joanneameyacohen.com support@joanneameyacohen.com Are you experiencing heavy menstrual cycles? Fibroids? Painful cramping? The culprit could be excess estrogen. Welcome to another episode of Q & A Wednesday! I am so happy to be here and we have a fabulous question from Monique. Dear Joanne, I am really struggling with my cycle and hormonal system. I have heavy bleeding and cramping and just went to the gynecologist and found out I have a large fibroid growing in my uterus. I am so confused about what to do and am finding that rather than being proactive, I am actually doing nothing. Can you help me understand why this is happening in my body? With love, Monique Based on what you are experiencing -- cramps, heavy bleeding and fibroids, the conclusion is that you have excess estrogen. This is a common issue for women as the body cannot get rid of estrogen optimally or there is too much estrogen coming in. Two tips: With excess estrogen, you want to focus on your liver. Your liver is responsible for getting rid of this excess build-up. Use herbs like burdock root, dandelion root and milk thistle to help the liver decongest. If possible avoid medications, toxic cleaning supplies, alcohol and sugar and of course pesticides sprayed on your food. If you like this video, subscribe to my youtube channel.
