Unplugging is one of the ways that I have been able to be more present. This technique has also helped me to have more energy and open more time in my life so that I can move beyond the daily grind and pursue things that move my life forward in a meaningful way. I highly recommend: Checking your messages, especially email, in the morning, afternoon and evening instead of continually throughout the day. You might actually find that this makes you more efficient and helps you better manage your time. Unplug completely one day a week. I usually do this on a Saturday or Sunday. This practice has changed my life!
