Saafir's "Light Sleeper," 1993, by the Kev Choice Ensemble, was performed at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in November, 2014, as part of “Clas/Sick Hip Hop: 1993 Edition,” a show that challenged Bay Area musicians and performers to reinterpret classic tracks from 1993, one of hip hop's most commercially and artistically successful years.
