All of us know at least one person (or may be that person) that moves in and doesn't have a housewarming party till almost a year later. Is it laziness? I don't think so. I think when someone moves to a new home, it's overwhelming to unpack and make the house presentable, and on top of that-- a housewarming party can be expensive.
