Dog Grooming Tools & Products

submitted by DogTraining on 05/27/15 1

I've been getting several request to make a video of my tools and where to get them. So my wife and I decided to open up my tool box and go over some basics about each grooming tool that I use. Most of them were purchased online. The combs, brushes, de-matting & de-shedding tools were all bought from PetEdge (www.petedge.com). The Miller's Forge slicker brush, nail clippers and Top Performance products and the EZ-Dry High-Velocity dryer were also from PetEdge. I know I bought some of the products from Amazon.com, but I can't remember which ones :-( I apologize, but I recommend comparing the prices because Amazon has a lot of grooming tools for a lot less than PetEdge. The same goes for Ebay (www.ebay.com) The Aussie Dog scissors were purchased at the Atlanta Pet Fair, which is held every March in Atlanta. It has a grooming trade show, competition event, and educational lectures all in one weekend. There are several grooming trade shows like the Atlanta Pet Fair all over the country. If you'd like to see a complete list of when and where they are being held, this is the link: www.barkleigh.com/calendar_of_events.asp. When it comes to scissors and clippers I recommend going to one of these trade shows so that you can actually hold the scissors, and get a good feel for them before buying them. A good pair of shears or clippers is like a good pair of shoes for an athlete. It tremendously helps to have a comfortable pair… and like women's shoes, you can never have enough :-) Music Credits: Easy Day, by Kevin MacLeod Where I am From, by Topher Mohr and Alex Elena Summer Nights, by The 126ers Keys to the Kingdom, by The 126ers Wish You'd Come True, but The 126ers
