This sample video is for training and demonstration purposes only. The dog was not harmed in any way; his regular grooming had been neglected due to a variety of resons. As a professional groomer it is important not to be judgemental. This is a partial groom demonstration of an very scared dog that is in pain from matts etc. The cage muzzle was only put on after he had bitten the groomer several times. When dogs become matted to this degree it causes them pain all over their body. The aggressive behavior of this dog was due to the pain he was experiencing from the matts that were full of sand and other debris, and fear of not knowing what was happening to him. Please make sure to watch part 2 and you will see the difference in his behavior after his bath - he is like a different dog and is actually quite a little sweetheart.
