BBL 2nd Graders Learn Korean Vocabulary by decoding Hangeul, the Korean Alphabet

submitted by Glenys Hanson on 05/14/15 1

In this short video, a 2nd Grade class learns the Korean word for “child” by decoding written Korean letters. The segment is from a longer lesson where students learned the Korean words for milk, cucumber, fox, eye and cow. As is consistent with BBL’s pedagogy, the teacher is mostly silent and never models the language items.
