His Holiness the Dalai Lama speaks to the Canada Tibet Committee about the effects of climate change in the Tibetan Plateau. Glaciers in Tibet are melting at a rate faster than anywhere else in the world and this has a direct impact on river flows, natural hazards, the ecosystem, as well as on people and their livelihoods.
