Beatles Rain (cover) Gillis

My recreated version of a popular Beatles tune. I performed the vocals and guitar work, although the drum track was taken from an outstanding midi file floating around. In my young teens when this song first came out on a Capitol record "mono" 45 ("B" or "flip-side" of Paperback writer) I recall wondering what John was singing near the ending (the more revealing "stereo" version wouldn't be around for years after). A couple of months passed when I happened to pick up a (then) popular "lyric magazine" solved the backwards "mystery." There I read, "Sdaeh rieht edih dna nur yeht semoc niar eht nehw" which blew me away with an added dimension of their unique creativity. I mention this here to give an idea to younger Beatle fans that part of their magic was never knowing what they were up to; what surprises might be in store on their next song, or even how long they were going to last!
