Marion Koopman is the CEO of the Greenhouse Group since November 2012. She is the former CEO of XS4all and KPN Hi. Marion talks about the Oculus Rift, mainly the implications and applications of it. Furthermore she gives an insight in this new technology and how it can be used in our society. Not only to use as a game controller, but also in the analysis of Big Data. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
