Welcome to Cambridge Strength & Conditioning (CS&C) - Leaders in corporate wellbeing and the integrated provision of physiotherapy, therapy, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning services. There are two essential concepts to developing a powerful core. This clip aims to talk you through them both. By mastering the positioning of the hips and pelvis into 'neutral', you'll learn to align your body optimally. By then 'bracing' the core to maintaining this position under movement you'll be able to unleash the power of the surrounding musculature. No effort goes to waste! Additionally, because you've lined everything up correctly you can reduce muscular discomfort and reduce your risk of injury dramatically.
