MY FAT LOSS PROGRAM -- www.LeanSecrets.com SAUCE 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 red onion chopped 3 cloves of garlic chopped 2 Cans organic tomato sauce 1 Can of organic stewed tomatoes 1 Tbsp tomato paste 3 bay leaves (remove before serving) Fresh rosemary to taste Fresh oregano to taste Fresh thyme to taste Dried Oregano to taste Garlic powder to taste Salt to taste -Warm oil in a pot on a low heat -Add onions and garlic to sauté at a low heat until you can smell them (about 30 seconds) -Add cans of tomato sauce and tomato -Add the rest of the herbs and ingredients -Continue to simmer on a low heat, stirring regularly MEATBALLS One pound 90% grass fed beef One Egg 1/2 Cup finely processed Mary's gone crackers Dried oregano to taste Garlic powder to taste Crushed red pepper flakes or black pepper Salt to taste -Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and kneed with hands until combined. -Roll meat into golf ball sized meatballs -Put raw meatballs into simmering sauce -If sauce doesn't cover meatballs, add a little water or chicken broth -Simmer the sauce and meatballs on a low heat, allowing the sauce to bubble gently for 2-3 hours, stirring regularly -Check doneness of the meatballs by cutting one in half before serving Serve with shredded zucchini, brown rice pasta, or quinoa pasta!
