LEAN SNACK ATTACK -- HUMMUS!

MY FAT LOSS PROGRAM -- www.leansecrets.com FACEBOOK -- www.facebook.com/leansecrets TWITTER -- www.twitter.com/leansecrets INSTAGRAM USERNAME -- leansecrets This hummus recipe is my favorite snack lately! Hope you love it as much as I do :) 1 can of Garbonzo beans 2 Tbsp Tahini (typically found in the ethnic isle near mediterranean food) 2 Cloves Garlic Juice of 1 fresh lemon 1/4 Cup of water (more or less depending on how creamy you want it) 2 1/2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (more or less depending on how creamy you want it) 1/2 tsp sea salt (more or less depending on preference. start there, taste it, and add more if needed.) Combine everything in a food processor, and mix until smooth with no lumps (approximately 1-2 minutes). You may need to scrape down the sides every so often. You can stop there and that is a delicious hummus! OR you can add extra ingredients to flavor your hummus and give it variety. In this video, I added a handful of cilantro and 1 raw jalapeño. Some other options you can consider adding to your hummus are: -crushed red pepper & a few slices of red bell peppers. -Fresh herbs like thyme & oregano for savory and delicious hummus -Olives (I love adding kalmata olives) -Black Beans -Cayenne and Paprika -A tiny bit of habanero peppers if you like extra heat! The list goes on and on! Have fun with it, and enjoy :)
