Inspired by the random acts of kindness carried out by real-life local hero, The Good Giraffe, and home-grown comic book hero, Banana Man, No. 1's Young Volunteer Team bought bananas with their own money and gave them away to the local community. This goodwill gesture took place during a scorching summer's day in Baxter Park and the surrounding Stobswell area.
