Everything you've every wanted to know about opening a medical marijuana cooperative, but explained using graphics and sound effects. (Video shot by Christopher Maue/KPBS and graphics by Jorge Contreras/KPBS) How it was done: After much reporting, I wrote a script and created a storyboard for this project. This video was then shot by KPBS videographer Christopher Maue on a white background. I cut together the raw sequence and Jorge Contreras of KPBS produced the graphics using my drawings as a guide. Once complete, I uploaded the video and used YouTube annotations to make the video interactive. At two points in the video, text pops up that takes you to a sub-video for further explanation. I edited the sub-videos myself. I used annotations again at the end of these videos to bring users back to where they left off in the main video.
